OPC UA connectivity standard
Wapice designs and implements OPC system solutions that meet the high demands of the industry sector. The OPC interface is an open connectivity standard used in industrial automation applications, such as control rooms, to integrate process control and diagnostic applications with process control devices.
Information exchange takes place through a standard interface in accordance with the client-server architecture, allowing for manufacturer-independent integration between devices and applications. Wapice had implemented both client and server software applications to cater for a range of industrial needs.
Wapice is an active member of the OPC Foundation’s OPC UA Early Adopter working group that develops the future communications standard OPC UA. OPC UA introduces fundamental architectural changes to earlier OPC specifications. Compared to existing technologies, OPC UA is better suited to address the requirements posed by the IT environment of present and future automation.
We contribute to the development of the OPC UA standard by developing both electronics and software solutions. One of our solutions is embedded OPC UA server.
